Frequently Asked Questions

What is “Dis-Ease”?

Within a holistic wellbeing framework, “dis-ease” is sometimes used to describe a general sense of imbalance or discomfort in how a person is feeling—physically, emotionally, or mentally. The Body Code™ approach describes the body as an interconnected system, where physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts may all influence overall wellbeing. In this context, wellbeing is viewed as a dynamic balance. When life feels stressful or overwhelming, people may notice changes in how they feel, think, or respond emotionally. Sessions are focused on supporting awareness, relaxation, and a greater sense of internal balance. They are not a medical treatment and do not diagnose health conditions.

What is "Energy Healing" ?

Energy-based wellbeing practices are holistic approaches that aim to support emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing by encouraging relaxation, self-awareness, and balance. These approaches work with the mind-body connection and may help individuals feel calmer, more grounded, and better able to cope with stress and life’s challenges. Sessions are designed to support overall wellbeing in a gentle, non-invasive way and are tailored to each individual’s experience and personal goals. Many people use complementary wellbeing sessions as part of their broader self-care and personal development practices.

What is  "Distance Healing"?

Distance sessions are simply a way of working remotely, allowing you to receive a session from your own space via Zoom. The focus is on intention, relaxation, and guided attention. Many people find it helpful to be in a familiar environment where they can fully unwind. Experiences vary, and some people report feeling relaxed, calm, or more self-aware during or after sessions, while others simply enjoy the time to switch off.

What are “Trapped Emotions”?

Within this framework, “trapped emotions” is a term used to describe the idea that unresolved emotional experiences may continue to influence how a person feels or responds. This is a conceptual model used in sessions to support reflection and awareness. It is not a medical diagnosis or clinical explanation. Many people are simply curious about exploring emotional patterns in a gentle and structured way.
